Resolved Question: Southern Thailand to Party??? Beach Huts?

5 20 year old boys going to Thailand for two weeks. We are flying into Bangkok late June and staying for two nights before travelling down to the southern parts of Thailand. I have never been before and would like to know what the best places are to go for beaches, nightlife and activities. I have been told about Phuket, Ko Samui, Ko Pan-ngan, Krabi but then Pattaya and areas round there aswell. Will we have time to travel that far with only a two week stay as our flight leaves from Bangkok two weeks later.
